The Heritage Touring Cars series’ Legends of Bathurst are set to conquer The Mountain this weekend, when they’re let loose around Mount Panorama at the Hi-Tec Oils Bathurst 6-Hour. A magic field of 25 muscle cars will take to the track to contest Round Two of our 2019 series over the Easter weekend, Friday the 19th to Sunday the 21st of April.
The Legends of Bathurst are just a few weeks away from returning to action, with Heritage Touring Cars set to compete in the 2019 Phillip Island Classic over the 8th to the 10th of March and a packed grid of historic Group C & Group A Australian touring cars is set for the event.
The 2019 Heritage Touring Cars calendar is locked in and we’re looking forward to unleashing the Legends of Bathurst once more with five rounds of iconic Australian touring car racing.
Heritage Touring Cars’ iconic Group C & A Australian touring cars rolled out one last time for 2018 to wrap up the series at Historic Sandown over the weekend of the 10th and 11th of November.
The Bakserville Historics was held at Baskerville Raceway in Tasmania over the 22nd and 23rd of September, and saw Heritage Touring Cars head south to Tasmania for the fourth round of our 2018 series.
It’s been a little while since July’s record-breaking Historic Queensland at Warwick, round four of the 2018 Heritage Touring Cars series is coming up and it’s time to let the big cars roar once more.
It’s been fifty years since Holden first won Bathurst for the first time, and to celebrate Australian Muscle Car Issue 104 just hit news stands with a special edition presenting five Holden stories about cars, drivers or events that haven’t yet had their time in the limelight.
Held over the 14th & 15th of July at the magnificent Morgan Park Raceway in Warwick, the Historic Racing Car Club Queensland’s 2018 Historic Queensland was a runaway success. Heritage Touring Cars joined the record field to contest Round 3 of the 2018 series.
A record-breaking entry will head to Morgan Park for Historic Queensland over the weekend of July 14th to 15th and Heritage Touring Cars’ Legends of Bathurst are pleased to be a big part of it. 29 of the series’ historic Australian touring cars are signed up for the event and set to put on a great weekend’s racing.
2018’s Muscle Car Masters, held over the Queen’s Birthday long weekend on the 9th and 10th of June, got off to a spectacularly soggy start. Things would only get better, however, as conditions improved, racing got closer and we celebrated Australia’s touring car history with round two of the 2018 Heritage Touring Cars series.
