As you are aware, our next Heritage Touring Cars round is at Morgan Park in sunny Queensland on 12-13th July.
The HRCC put on one of the friendliest and welcoming race meetings of the year, and the extended Morgan Park circuit is both challenging and enjoyable for all classes and capacities.
In addition to the Lloyd Bax handicap race, the HRCC award the perpetual John French and Glen Seton trophies for outright first place in Group C and Group A respectively.
Practice is available on Friday 11th July, and we shall once again have the opportunity for a sponsor rides/hot lap session on the Friday afternoon – so please make sure you have a passenger seat and approved harness fitted to your vehicle if you would like to participate.
We are planning some hospitality initiatives in addition to providing the usual class trophies and category DSO – more to follow on this.
Please make sure you book a carport with your entry, as these are in high demand. We are keen to get the whole category together in the pits. Limited park up is available for trucks and trailers with annexes.
Also please note the pre booking requirement for AVGAS at the service station in Warwick. You will be caught short if you don’t pre order.
Finally, all entry processing is via the CAMS Motor Event Entry website. It takes a few minutes to set up the first time, but subsequent entry processing takes leas than a minute, as I found on the weekend. Please get onto it ASAP so that we can coordinate the best outcome for garaging, race format and hospitality.
