Issue #91 of Australian Muscle Car Magazine is a 50th anniversary special celebrating the Mini Cooper S’ domination at Bathurst in 1966. It includes a chat with Aussie motorsport Legend and Heritage Touring Cars series regular, Bob Holden.
The issue rolls the clocks back to 1966 to look at the Mini’s utter domination of the 1966 Gallaher 500, in which they captured the top nine positions.
It includes an interview with Bob Holden, who talks about his and Rauno Altonen’s rise to BMC’s local factory dream team, as well as the developments he made with the #13C Cooper S before the race and more. The mag also covers the Mini celebrations that look place at Bathurst back in October.
