Six Outings for Heritage Touring Cars in 2017

The Heritage Touring Cars series will return to Australian race tracks this March for a five-round contest between the Legends of Bathurst.

The first round of the 2017 Heritage Touring Cars series will be contested at the unparalleled Phillip Island Classic, held over the 17th to the 19th of March at Victoria’s timeless Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit.

A non-championship round will follow over the Easter weekend, the 14th to 16th of April, when the Legends head to Mount Panorama for the Bathurst Motor Festival. In June, over the 10th and 11th, competition will head to Sydney Motorsport Park for the Sydney Classic.

August the 12th to 13th will see the series head north to Queensland for the first time in 2017, bringing the thunder to the Lakeside Classic. Following that, it’s Victoria to support the Sandown 500 Supercars Heritage Round at Sandown Raceway over the 15th to 17th of September. This event will be televised – so keep an eye out for it and follow www.heritagetouringcars.com.au and facebook.com/HeritageTouringCars for the full details closer to the date.

The series will conclude at Sydney’s celebration of Muscle – Muscle Car Masters – over the 28th and 29th of October.

2017 is set to be another exciting year of competition as we celebrate the drivers and race cars of the golden era of Australian touring car racing. Custodianship of these Group C & Group A Australian racing cars is a great honour, and we’re thrilled to be sharing them with fellow fans once again.

The Heritage Touring Cars series will return to Australian race tracks over the 17th to 19th of March at the Phillip Island Classic. Be there!
