Muscle Car Masters is taking over Sydney Motorsport Park in just a couple days, so it’s time to start thinking about how you’re going to get here! The team at the ARDC have compiled everything you’ll need to know about how to get there and enjoy the weekend into one handy post, which you can check out at the link, or read on below.
General Timetable August 31st & September 1st
Parking open: 6.30am
Gates and Ticket Box Office open: 6.30am
Circuit Activity: 9am – 5:30pm, circuit closed at 6:00pm
First bus from Blacktown Train Station to SMSP (Sept 1 only): 730am
Last bus to Blacktown Train Station from SMSP (Sept 1 only): 6:00pm
Getting to the 2013 Muscle Car Masters by car
For those who have purchased pre-paid on-site parking, entry is via Gate B on Peter Brock Drive. Due to the road closure on the corner of Brabham Drive and Peter Brock Drive, those with pre-paid parking tickets must enter Peter Brock Drive via Reservoir Road.
Pre-Paid Parking is still available for pre-purchase until Friday August 30 at the ARDC Office at Sydney Motorsport Park between 9:00 and 5pm, at a cost of $20 per day.
There will be a “Kiss-and-Drop” spectator drop-off and pick up zone located at the Sydney Dragway Free Parking area. Entry is via Gate D (signposted Sydney Dragway, off Ferrers Road Eastern Creek). A free shuttle bus will then transport spectators to a designated shuttle bus zone; a short walk from the main entrance of Sydney Motorsport Park.
Getting to the 2013 Muscle Car Masters by public transport
The closest train station to Sydney Motorsport Park is Blacktown Station. A free event bus service will run between Blacktown train station to Sydney Motorsport Park to get you to and from the event ON SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 1 ONLY from 7:30am to 6:00pm. The service will be wheelchair accessible, and will leave at regular intervals to and from Sydney Motorsport Park. The service will arrive and depart from Gate B at the north side of the Park.
Taxis will be able to drop off and pick up spectators at the designated Kiss-And-Drop locations at Gate D (see Kiss-and-Drop information, above). For details of taxi networks servicing the Sydney area visit Taxis NSW.
